Non-Letting Construction Procurements
The Chief Procurement Officer for the Illinois Department of Transportation is occasionally involved in special projects that fall outside the scope of traditional IDOT highway construction lettings. These are typically innovative project delivery procurements. These types of procurements include, but are not limited to, Invitation for Bid (IFB), Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), and Request for Qualification (RFQ). The Chief Procurement Office also advertises procurements with IDOT that are unique, or involve alternative or innovative project delivery methods.
